Volunteers work together to assemble kitchen tables, coffee tables, end tables, kitchen chairs, and other furniture items from kits. Depending on need, we may also ask volunteers to help paint, rout, or assemble pre-cut parts or assist in our efforts to reclaim wood to use again. No experience required! We provide the instructions, tools, and safety equipment. The woodshop can be scheduled for volunteer groups Mondays and Fridays from 9 AM-12 Noon or 1-4 PM and Thursdays from 1-4 PM.

All scheduling needs to be done ahead of time. We require between 5 and 15 volunteers at a time.

The need for building varies depending on the need of the families.
