RMGDRI has currently placed over 2,100 Danes in forever families since it inception in 2000. It is our purpose to find new, permanent, and loving homes for Great Danes that have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned. Because Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue does not have a shelter, we rely on our network of foster homes to provide a safe and stable temporary home for the Danes in our care until a permanent home is found. Our foster program is the heart of the rescue and the more families willing to open their hearts and homes, the more Great Danes we can help.

Mission Statement
Rocky Mountain Great Dane Rescue is a group of volunteers concerned with the welfare of Great Danes. It is our purpose to find new, permanent, and loving homes for Great Danes that have been abused, neglected and/or abandoned in primarily Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Utah.
Description
For each Dane that comes to us, our Rescue is literally their only hope. If we can't help them, then no help will come. As part of our mission, RMGDRI firmly believes that it is our responsibility to do all that we can for every Dane that comes into our haven, into our care.
