Shelving

Circulation volunteer positions are available to help organize, re-shelve and straighten books. Volunteers will also perform routine shelf checks to ensure materials have been processed correctly.

We also need volunteers to collect books from various locations in the library and process them to be place on hold for pick up. When necessary the volunteer will call patrons to remind them their book is available for check-out. Volunteers will pull canceled holds off shelves, file hold slips and other duties that support the Circulation Services desk.
