The most important objective for our cancer support program is to ensure that everyone who contacts us and requests personalized cancer support gets the help they need. Your role is: assessing the support needs of cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers screening, training, and adding potential Mentor Angels to our community referring cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers to external partner organizations as needed Volunteers are asked to: learn about our cancer partners and know where/when/who to refer to their resources become familiar with basic anatomy and cancer-related terminology provide a high level of service to our community at all times (cancer fighters, survivors, caregivers, volunteers, partners, donors, and other supporters) learn to use our software tools including, Gmail, and Google Docs
