ORGANIZATION: Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 162 people are interested

Jungle Friends needs volunteers and interns to help with the daily care of more than 120 New World monkeys. The monkeys are former lab subjects, former pets, and discarded entertainment monkeys, who need a safe place to live out their lives in as natuaral a habitat as possible.

You can help any day of the week! Some of the jobs include monkey food prep, gathering and washing empty food containers and monkey blankets, building and maintaining monkey habitats; as well as office duties including website administration, social media, filing, etc.

Group days and open volunteer days are Saturdays at 10am. Please call to schedule your group. For individuals, our shifts are usually 4 hours (10am-2pm, 2pm-6pm) but you can come any time any day; just schedule with the carestaff first.

Thanks for being a part of improving the lives of each individual monkey here at Jungle Friends!
