Come help us serve meals in our Free Dining Room. Volunteer positions include: serving line, kitchen prep help, pantry organization, bussing tables, and making sack lunches. Our dining room serves up to 700 meals per day; breakfast, lunch, and a bagged lunch to take for dinner. Volunteers work in 2-3 hour shifts between 6:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. every day of the week. Description
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is located in San Rafael, California, and we provide services to low-income people in Marin County. In 1981, we opened our Free Dining Room, which currently serves 600 meals per day to our hungry neighbors. We are open 365 days of the year and welcome volunteers to help us prepare and serve meals to Marin's hungry and homeless citizens.
