Lower income home owners struggle with maintaining their home, or modifying it for access after illness or injury. There is a great need for volunteers to help these home owners continue to be able to live in their homes. Habitat for Humanity's Home Preservation Program matches homeowners in need with willing volunteers who can make the repairs. The homeowners agree to repay a portion of the cost of materials if they can afford to do so. Able-bodied homeowners will work alongside the volunteers if they can.

Every home is different, so a wide range of skills is needed to assess the scope of work and complete each repair project.
