The Corporal Michael J. Crescenz is seeking volunteers to serve as a liaison between clinical staff and families who are waiting for their loved one who are having surgery. The Short Procedure Unit volunteer works with the recovery room volunteers as well.

Volunteers update family members with the status of their loved one who is in surgery (such as still in pre-op, in surgery, post-op, etc.).

Volunteer shifts are Monday through Friday for a 3 or 4 hour shift between 7am-7pm.

This is an ideal assignment for a college student, retired nurse, retired teacher, or pastoral care individual.
