ORGANIZATION: Travelers Aid Society of San Diego

Help increase the mobility of low-income seniors (60 years or older) by providing rides for those without other means of transportation. Volunteer drivers will earn a $15 (per round-trip ride) vehicle stipend when providing a local senior a ride or rides. Eligible locations include doctor's offices, grocery and other stores, churches, or social events; just about anywhere a senior wants to go.

Drivers must show proof of current car registration and insurance, and have had a valid driver's license for at least five years.
