Become an APPRISE counselor and help Medicare beneficiaries get the most out of their insurance. Volunteers may provide one-on-one beneficiary counseling, make presentations, develop materials and/or support the APPRISE office.
This is a job for people who love to learn!!! Volunteers are required to complete 6 on line hours of education in addition to 3 days of training provided by the state. These sessions will cover all aspects of Medicare. Additional opportunities for expanding Medicare and general aging knowledge are offered throughout the year.
Our program is located in a comfortable and friendly small office, located just two blocks south of City Hall.
