Billing and Collections Associate
The Billing and Collections volunteer will be trained to assist the Financial Department with claims submission to insurance companies and other payers. Volunteers also will learn to follow-up on non-billed, unpaid, denied and rejected claims and resubmit when appropriate. In addition, Volunteers will learn to help with monitoring AR account (Accounts Receivable).
This will be a great learning opportunity for someone interested in the billing, collection and financial aspects of health care as it relates to "home health."
