Surrey Services for Seniors is looking for some outgoing volunteers who can help by answering phones, directing phone calls to our staff, greeting visitors, and doing some administrative tasks using the computer. The best candidates would possess a pleasant phone manner, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple calls. In addition, knowledge of Outlook email, MS Word and MS Excel is a plus! The volunteer typically works one 4 hour shift per week. Available shifts are: 8:30-12:30 or 12:30-4:30 Monday-Friday. Of course, you could also choose more than one shift if you like!

Description
For nearly 45 years, Surrey has connected people and resources, creating a vibrant community of older adults. We offer programs and services that help older adults remain safe and engaged in our community including:
- Activities, exercise, clubs, lunch, and lectures at any Surrey center - Bryn Mawr, Broomall, Devon, or Media
- Nutritious meals available in-person or Grab and Go Monday-Friday at Devon, Broomall, and Media
- Transportation services, fee-based and free, provided by volunteers, Surrey Drivers and through partnerships with Chester County Community Transit (Chester County) and DELGO Community Transit (Delaware County)
- Home care services including RN Care Management for help with medication management and care; personal care for help bathing and dressing; and Personal Finance Management for help with bills, insurance claims, and long-term care policies.
- Opportunities to downsize and consign with the Surrey Consignment Shop.
- Free instruction, support, and hands-on training for family caregivers and aspiring caregivers at The Surrey Academy.
