DRBC is looking for help with fundraising! Our events include on line and community focused events with all proceeds applied to our medical needs. DRBC is a 501[c][3] organization taht works to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dachshunds in the PA and NJ areas. Each shelter dachsund we save helps the shelters we support make room for another needy animal while supporting our breed. There are many ways to get involved and make a difference. Join us; you will be valued and appreciated by the two-legged members of our group and countless four legged creatures.

Mission Statement
Founded in 1984 by Bucks County, PA and New Jersey dachshund lovers, DRBC is a 501-C3 nonprofit supported completely by donations. Our all-volunteer organization works tirelessly to provide an experience for both the adopter and adoptee that helps guarantee a perfect match. DRBC's goal is to save abandoned, owner turn-ins, neglected or stray Dachshunds. DRBC does not just place needy Dachshunds; we specialize in matches of the heart. All DRBC dogs with long-term medical issues are given life-long sanctuary as permanent members of one of our foster homes. Additionally, DRBC supports the long term sponsorship of senior dachshunds.
Description
DRBC prides itself as an organization on the level of medical care provided and in its role as a medical resource for the dachshund breed.
We endeavor to obtain all Doxies in animal shelters thus avoiding euthanasia. We also aid Doxie owners in recovering lost or stolen pets.
Our rescue program, which has been in existence almost 35 years, serves the Dachshund Rescue needs of Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
