Provide crime victim service support with Community Advocates for Family & Youth (CAFY).
Help victims understand the judicial process and help them move through it.
Identify victim needs and match them with appropriate CAFY services.
Based on conversations with victims and/or non-offending parent/guardians inform victims of their rights, services provided, resources and assistance available.
Work independently and make follow-up calls to victims of crime, offering support.
Great way for students to gain experience and participate in a NOVA certified training.
