Cat Caretakers are an integral part of our Center and the cats love to meet new friends. Volunteers in this area will help clean our cat colony rooms as well as provide much needed socialization to our furry felines. Our two cat areas are large rooms with free roaming cats. There are no cages in these rooms.
Tasks include washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, scooping litter boxes, washing windows and walls, folding laundry. We will be happy to arrange an orientation and better aquaint you with the cat caretaker duties.

Description
The Tennessee Humane Animal League is a 501(c)3 organization devoted to the placement of homeless or surrendered animals through The Pet Placement Center (PPC). The PPC survives entirely on donations and fundraising activities. We are the oldest no-kill animal adoption center in Hamilton County. The PPC is a private adoption center and does not contract with the city of county for animal control. Once an animal comes to the Pet Placement Center (s)he will remain safe with us until adopted into a responsible permanent home.
