Metropolitan Ministries faithfully reaches out to poor, hungry and homeless men, women and children in their time of need, providing life-changing solutions. Within our care, people find food, clothing, shelter, and other vital services. More importantly, however, they find compassion and hope--hope for a brighter day and future.
High Impact People (or HIPs as we call them) are individuals that volunteer on a regular, recurring basis in a specific department. HIPs volunteer according to a mutually-agreed upon schedule--some volunteer several days a week, others only a few hours weekly.
HIP opportunities throughout our ministry may include: Kitchen Prep and Line Server, Retail Specialist in our Thrift Store,Outreach Center Service Provider, Metro Market Coordinator, Education Support Assistant, and Marketing Representative etc. We also are looking for HIPs to augment our maintenance, childcare, and adult education programs. For other volunteer opportunites please contact Donya Frazier, Volunteer Services Manager by phone at 813-209-1094 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
