We are a one of a kind organization that assists families seeking asylum in Canada and the United States. The Vive program at Jericho Road Community Health Center works one on one with asylee seekers to navigate the immigration system, and provides interrim housing and social services.
Our children are invited to the Saturday Academy offered at Lafayette Community School, and need transportation to and from the school. We are seeking reliable volunteers to transport families to participate in the activities at:
370 Lafayette Avenue at 8:30 AM and returning to our site at 50 Wyoming Avenue at 12:30 PM on the following dates:
February 4, 11 & 18
March 4 & 18
April 8 & 22
May 6 & 20
June TBD
Volunteers may commit to one week a month or several. Drivers must be 21 years of age, and proof of driver's licence and car insurance, required.
