House volunteers assist with basic functions of the Ronald McDonald House. These volunteers are often the first to welcome our families and guests to the House, as well as providing administrative help in our front office.
House Volunteers play an important role in helping with cleaning and organizing parts of the House. Volunteers ensure rooms are ready for families for check in as well as assist with light cleaning when families check out. Cleaning and organizing are the main focus for evening and weekend shifts as the administrative duties take place during the normal work-week (M-F, 9-5).

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.
Description
The Central Texas Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide a comforting "home-away-from-home" for families to stay so they can fight their child’s illness or injury together. Our Happy Wheels Carts stroll the hospital hallways bringing complimentary items to families waiting by their child’s hospital bedside. RMHC CTX also supports families who have lost a child through the Healing Hearts program, which provides burial assistance and bereavement support.
