This exciting environment makes for an extraordinary learning experience for guests of all ages. Interested teens and adults can provide assistance in several different ways including stimulating an interest in science by facilitating and encouraging hands-on learning in our educational exhibits; by assisting our curators with the plant and animal life; or by providing our guests with a warm welcome and answering questions. As a California Science Center volunteer you can enjoy many special benefits including free parking, specialized group or individual training, previews of exhibits, invitations to special events and activities. Volunteers also have an opportunity to earn free Explorer Level Membership. The minimum age for volunteers is 16.
