As a hospice companion volunteer you will become a friend of a terminally ill patient. For about an hour a week you will talk with them, listen to them, read to them, watch TV with them or just sit with them. You will provide much needed support and friendship. Visits take place where the patient lives which is either in their home or in a care facility.

Our hospice team helps terminally ill patients maintain the highest possible quality of life. As a volunteer, you will become a vital part of our team by helping to meet the patient's social needs. Our volunteers tell us that this is one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives!

An excellent training program will prepare you to succeed as a volunteer! Training and volunteer activities can be easily planned around your schedule.
