This volunteer opportunity pairs a volunteer with a senior client. The companion will, generally, make home visits to their assigned senior throughout the course of a year or longer. Activities depend on the personality of the senior and companion.

Description
Marillac St. Vincent Family Services has been working to end the cycle of poverty and violence in the city of Chicago for over 100 years. Sponsored by the Daughters of Charity, we provide quality child care, early childhood education, after-school programs, support for pregnant teens, comprehensive services for isolated seniors, and outreach to at-risk families and individuals.
