The Jefferson Library is a fantastic resource for any and all things relevant to Jefferson. The collection includes a wide variety of materials beyond published books. Just 1/3 of a mile down the road from Monticello, The Jefferson Library is open M-F (9-5) and welcomes scholars and the general public.

The Library is looking for bright, engaged volunteers to help staff the reception desk and orient visitors around the Library. Volunteers are also needed for projects involving organizing documents and other materials. Special research projects may be developed on an individual basis.

Library volunteers should be able to commit to a minimum of 4-6 hours per week.
