"CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!!!"
The Mount Dora Arts Festival is a nationally ranked fine arts festival that features the work of 285 artists. The festival is successful because of the vounteers that help each year.
We need help in the following areas:
Donation Booth, Out going people needed to solicit at a donation booth at the festival entrances. 2 hr. shifts begining at 10am.
Artist Hospitality, Friday set up 1pm to 5pm.
Sat. and Sun. 1st shift 5:30am to 9am, making coffee, and help with serving food. Be friendly and helpful to the artists.
Artist Set Up, Friday 4pm to 8pm, direct traffic, man festival entrances. Help artists find the correct enrty point to the festival
Artist Breakdown, Sunday 5pm to 8pm, monitor traffic. Monitor artists to make sure they follow breakdown proceedures
Parking Lot Supervision, Saturday and Sunday7am to 8:30 am, Check parking passes for vehicles entering parking lots.
RV Parking Lot Supervision, Friday 3 to 7, Make sure RV's park correctly in the RV parking lot. Bring a lawn chair and book it's not busy.

Mission Statement
Mount Dora Center for the Arts (MDCA) is a community oriented, nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering an understanding and appreciation of art and culture through exhibitions, art festivals, and educational programs.
Description
MDCA is a community art and education center. Maintaining a gallery of changing exhibits of original art by local artists, we also provide classes, seminars, workshops, lectures and "explorariums" in art and related subjects throughought the year. Examples of classes are: Pottery and Clay, Ballet, Group Music, Individual Voice, Art for Children, Painting, Drawing, Calligraphy,etc. We also host the county's major event, the Mount Dora Arts Festival, each year.
