The Support Group Facilitator leads a support and discussion group for participants who have been affected by a family member or loved one with dementia. The Support Group Facilitator serves as the link between support group attendees and the Alzheimer's Association. The Support Group Facilitator creates a supportive environment for participants.

Our Mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
Description
We are the primary community resource for Alzheimers disease and related disorders through family services, education, public policy and research. We serve 96 counties in Illinois and Missouri, Skilled volunteers join professional staff to participate at every level of service from office support to public speaking to leadership and more. The associations success and growth are due to the dedication nearly 1,000 volunteers, including students and interns.
