Hospice is a special type of care that focuses on comfort & living life fully to the end. Hospice care supports the patient & family experiencing a life limiting illness. Volunteer are an important part of the hospice team; which includes physicians, social workers, nurses, home health aides and counselors who work together in support of the patient and family.
