The New Jewish Home is pleased to be reopened to volunteers. Volunteers needed to assist our Therapeutic Recreation staff organizing, promoting and participating in activities with the elders in one to one, small group & large group settings.
Activities include sing-along, concerts, exercise, dance, table games, bingo, discussion groups, book club, poetry, nail spa, arts & crafts, coloring meditation, knitting, beading, horticulture and religious services (Jewish, Catholic & Protestant)
Volunteers will invite older adults to participate in programs, transport to programs and engage with older adults during the programs and 1:1 conversations/engagement opportunities.
