SeniorNet is an all-volunteer organization that provides computer classes for adults aged 50 and over. Volunteers are needed to work with the Development committee in the following areas:
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF FUNDING RESOURCES - Work with Development coordinators to research funding sources; knowledge of the Internet, good people skills useful especially when meeting with community leaders.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH-
Meet community leaders and network with community organizations to promote SeniorNet.
PUBLICITY -
Publish important SeniorNet events in local newspapers.
TREASURER-
Maintain financial records for SeniorNet ; some accounting background helpful.
NEWSLETTER EDITOR -
Knowledge of Publisher a +.

Mission Statement
The mission of SeniorNet is to build a community of computer-using seniors in order to bring older adults access to technology, and to empower then to share their knowledge and wisdom with each other.
SeniorNet was founded in 1986. It is a national as well as an international organization that has more than 125 centers around the country and some international centers.
Description
Our award-winning SeniorNet Computer Center offers computer classes for adults over 50. These classes are taught by an instructor with the assistance of several coaches. The function of a coach is to help individual students on a one-to-one basis with any problem they may be experiencing in class.
