Volunteers are vital members of our interdisciplinary health care team! Nurses, social workers, spiritual care coordinators and volunteers work together to care for terminally ill patients and their families.

Certified Pet Therapy Dogs and Certified Volunteers visit hospice clients and their families. Clients may have lost their pet or no longer have one. These visits bring joy to them.

Prospective volunteers complete a comprehensive training program led by members of our health care team. Topics covered include:
- Role of the Hospice Volunteer
- Bereavement
- Hospice Caregiving
- Universal Health Precautions
- HIPAA Regulations
