We read that the world of effective presentations and messaging is becoming much broader than simply transmitting information or creating identity. That’s because the way we communicate is changing. One major shift is the prevalence of videos. In the next minute, about 35 hours of footage will be uploaded to YouTube. Worldwide, over 400 billion multimedia text messages were sent in 2018 alone. And chances are you’ve received at least one video from a friend or coworker this week. We’ve recognized this fact at YesLiberia and would really need someone to help get our messages across through videos. I am a volunteer staff member of a small organization called YesLiberia--- a strategic nonprofit organization striving to make major impact against some of the dire conditions for the people we serve in Africa.

We have a have a GOAL and a story to tell; we have few footages (good and bad clips due camera used or poor recording conditions) that can be combined to achieve the messages we will to relay through videos. However, we lack the ability, resources, and effective skills to tell and sell our stories through videos. This is where you come in-- to take on this important, yet fun, task for us.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a gifted individual with, unmatched talent, to take our short clips (or recreate our stories) and produce creative, inspiring, and powerful short videos that will not only tell our story, but encourage viewers to support our CAUSE. If that is you, we encourage you to apply.

Start Date/Duration: 1-3 months (or voluntarily more)

Compensation: This is an Un-paid volunteer position (with possible credits hours toward graduation for skilled students). We can work with you on this.

Skills: The ideal candidate MUST have excellent and creative video editing skills
