Sort donated medical supplies bound for Central and South America: Ecuador, Chile, Haiti, Peru, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador,.

We have a never-ending stream of donated supplies and medical equipment that VIDA ships by sea to Latin America year round.

What we need is volunteers to sort medical supplies - Monday thru Friday. Typically three hours at a time.
VIDA is a simple, laid-back place to volunteer with a dedicated and appreciative staff.

This is easy and anyone is welcome. A three hour stint is perfect - but 2 hours is productive as well.

You can start when you want and finish when you want - but 2-5 is popular and you will find others volunteering as well. Thursday afternoons are popular with our volunteers who come every week. They are pros at sorting and provide a good support system as you learn.

This is a great opportunity for NURSES, EMTs, MEDICAL STUDENTS, as a knowledge of medical supplies is especially helpful. Your special skills can be of great assistance.

All are welcome. Please come on in - even on the spur of the moment.
No need to wait for confirmation - just head on over to VIDA USA in Emeryville - address supplied above.
