Mentor, tutor or volunteer at one of our Elementary, Middle or High Schools

The NEISD Volunteer Program is a partnership of dedicated community members

  • Providing positive adult role models for students
  • Fostering relationships that help students become successful learners
  • Reinforcing positive attitudes towards learning and problem-solving
  • Building self-esteem by motivating students to strive for academic success

So that students may excel academically and accomplish their dreams and aspirations.

Mentor Duties
  • To listen, clarify and inspire
  • To help find solutions to social and academic problems
  • To set good examples by modeling appropriate behavior
  • To support and encourage good behavior and good attendance

To help set academic and personal goals

Tutors: Are you good at Math. English or any other subjects? Some of our students could use some extra help, If you are interested in tutoring with NEISD please contact Brooke Pate

General Volunteers- NEISD could use volunteers to help out in our school cafeterias, athletic events, be a watchdog on a campus and various other volunteer opportunities with North East

Our Mission Our purpose is to raise funds to expand educational opportunities for the students of the North East Independent School District. The North East Educational Foundation was created in 1986 to expand educational opportunities for students of NEISD. Since that time, the Foundation has funded hundreds of projects that have enriched and enhanced students' learning experience on our campuses.
