The Nashville International Center for Empowerment is seeking a Job Readiness Teacher, to help refugees and immigrants with finding and applying for jobs.
This is a fun and incredibly rewarding job that involves teaching students how to create a resume, search for jobs online, and apply for jobs online. This position will also focus on helping clients learn basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills for the work place.

Description
The Nashville International Center for Empowerment, formerly the Sudanese Community and Women's Services Center, offers refugees and immigrants who have resettled in Middle Tenessee direct social services designed to ease their transition into their new lives in America. NICE offers classes in English, citizenship, GED, computer, and job training, as well as youth and immigration services. These programs are designed to empower these new Americans to provide for themselves and their families and to become productive members of American society.
