About

Volunteer at Award-Winning Theater and Educational Institution in NYC that Serves Homeless Children!

Help build the community by contributing your unique skills and talents to help change people’s lives at The Actors Theatre Workshop. This award-winning non-profit theater, community center and educational institution teaches innovative educational techniques and theater principles to adults and children from all walks of life. ATW was founded by Thurman E. Scott, an award-winning actor, writer, and director who has dedicated his life to helping others develop their gifts as individuals and fulfill their unique creative potential.

You can volunteer at ATW and be a part of this powerful vision! You’ll receive classes in our unique creative training process, which help individuals develop new insights and achieve greater personal and professional success. By contributing your professional expertise and supporting the Builders of the New World, our theater and education program for homeless children and at-risk youth, you will become a part of a diverse community of individuals helping to break down the walls of cultural difference.
