Position Summary:
Advocate and assist with Ride Connection's advocacy activities and development of public policies focused on older adults and people with disabilities, low income job seekers, rural residents and veterans and their families to ensure increased funding for their special transportation needs. Coordinate Ride-Alongs with legislators. Gather stories from the individual riders to share with legislators. Speak to/with various legislators and community representatives. Track and monitor local, state and federal legislation. Volunteer advocates are needed to educate others.

Our services bring together friends and family, prevent social isolation, alleviate financial stress and create new connections that strengthen our community.
