We are looking for more caring volunteers to use their interviewing and editing skills to record our hospice patients share their life story.Would you like to hear the stories of "The Greatest Generation" and record them for their families? We have an exciting opportunity at Silverado Hospice for you. We will train you in recording the life stories of our elderly, terminally-ill patients in order to create a CD for those they leave behind. Imagine the thrill of a family member being able to hear Grandpa's story in his own words after he has passed away! We further recognize patients and families' decision-making rights in relation to continuing medical treatments and their right to withdraw treatment whose benefits are outweighed by their burdens.
