The Volunteer Program at Memphis Zoo has openings for applications! Come volunteer in KangaZoo! This is a fun volunteer opportunity where you can spend time in nature, around kangaroos and emus, while getting experience to put on your resume. This volunteer position will require you to interact with guests and share information about kangaroos and conservation, while learning from the keepers and our informational system, CollaborNation. You’ll also help ensure the kangaroos are safe in their free roaming exhibit, and ensure guests keep to the path and follow rules while visiting. Whether you’re interested in pursuing a career in animal care, enjoy educating the public on conservation, need volunteer hours for a club or scholarship, or just want to spend time in nature talking to people while serving your community, this could be a great opportunity for you!
