About

The "City of Challenges" program needs volunteers and board members to help up accomplish our goal to build a facility for abused, neglected, developmentally disabled, pregnant teens and homeless children. We need help with fundraising, ideas, seed money for the City of Challenges program project, food donations for community food boxes and making handcrafted toys, for the less fortunate children. All kinds of donations are needed for a variety of children and familes.

Local and around the world crafters are also appreciated. Child safe handcrafted items can be mailed to us year round. Everything from food, toys, stuffed animals, blankets, baby items, clothes, cash donations and any other child safe items are needed.

These items are great to help children cope with the unexpected things that happen in their life. Everything from abuse, neglect, develpmentally disabled, pregnant teens, hmeless children, fanilies homes being burned down, flooding, hurricanes, tonadoes and unexpected accidents that take away or destroy their favorite items and toys. These items also help children, when a family member or friend has had a disaster happen from a terrible vehicle accident or a child's parent dies of an unexpected death.

Everything is unexpected, but we can help those who are unable to help themselves. During a drastic and unexpected disasters that happen in their lives, they need comforting. This can range from giving them support to giving them a handcrafted gift from a stranger, to put a smile on their face. The memories that come from these items are unspeakable. Even the developmentally disabled did not ask for the hand they were delt. This helps us help them live bigger and better lives.

Donations are needed to help us pay for the land and housing facility, as well as food for community food bxes. We enojoy paying it forward, by doing these things to help others. It is as important to us, as it is to the people who receive and need the help we provide. Hunger is not something we can ignor. Holiday food boxes are a BIG item we prepare for families, in November and December.

Please consider helping us Pay it Forward. The children who are going through these tough times, did not ask for it. They appreciate having people like us helping them learn how to live through the tough times.

We also advocate for the homeless, Elderly and people's disability rights. Call to see if we have In Home Health Care available in your area. Certified care takers have a Finger Print Card, CRP and First Aid cards and are experienced.
