The Marion County Local Alcohol and Drug Planning Committee (LADPC) is looking for new members who can represent the interests of one or more minority cultural groups, including the Hispanic, Native American and/or Russian communities, rural communities and education and physical health .

LADPC makes recommendations to the Marion County Health Advisory Board and the Board of Commissioners on matters related to alcoholism, alcohol and drug abuse, and drug addiction.

The committee addresses education, treatment, prevention, rehabilitation, law enforcement, criminal justice and law reform.

Committee members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners to serve two-year terms.
