St. Joseph the Worker helps individuals experiencing homelessness gain employment. We're seeking someone with resume experience to help clients write resumes. Many clients have large gaps, many short-term jobs or may need assistance researching past employers.

MAIN DUTIES:

  1. Assisting job seeking clients with creating and editing resumes, cover letters, email, and conducting employment searches
  2. Assist in facilitating office job leads by updating job boards, binders, contacting employers, and sending faxes
  3. Identify client needs and provide direction and resource information as appropriate

Opportunities are available to write resumes in our partner offsite location during business hours.

Description

We are an employment resource center that provides our clients with the resources, from basic to advanced, to be able to find and maintain quality employment. Those resources include one-on-one attention from job developers, computer access, interview appropriate clothing, transportation assistance, and job-specific assistance.
