The 12k's of Christmas, benefiting animal rescue, needs help with packet pickup for our run/walk. The run itself is on Saturday December 14th, but packet pickup is on Friday December 13th at the event site in Gilbert Freestone Park. It's an easy job - you can even bring your dog! We're all about pets. When registered runners and walkers arrive, we just need to find their names and give them their race bib and goodie bag.
The 12k's of Christmas includes Santa's Pet Village (a large pet adoption event with over 25 pet rescues), Christmas Carolers, a Christmas Bazaar and a 12k, 6k and 1.2k run/walk with caroling groups at every k. Each of the participating rescues receives a donation from the event. Over the past 8 years we've donated over $80,000 to help the animals and have helped find forever homes for 1800+ pets.
