- Help with conference set up
- Help unload and load vehicles for speakers as needed
- Help as time monitors for speakers.
- Responsible for placing water in workshop rooms before each presentation begins
- Makes sure all equipment needs are met by speakers
- Make sure resource tables are stocked
- Various other miscellaneous duties
- Help kitchen staff with box lunches
Workers may sign up for specific duties during the conference, i.e. set up only, workshop monitor, workshop assistant, meal server etc. Volunteers who work on Saturday have lunch included.
Volunteers sign in and are under the supervision of Volunteer Coordinator and should make special or specific requests through the coordinator.

To help home school families educate their children with confidence.
Description
Heart for Home School Ministries was founded in 2002 .The organization sponsors seminars, conferences and various activities to help home school families educate their children with confidence.
Our events provide parents’ opportunities to develop, sharpen, or add new skills to their role as teacher and administrator. We provide a network of support for home school families, by partnering new home school families with veteran home educators.
We also offer online events for parents, that recommend information on curriculum choices, teaching techniques and current trends in home education.
Our Annual Winter Conference features local, national and international speakers and experts on home education. A variety of topics are covered to encourage, inform, and instruct home educators. A student's workshop track is also offered.
(Scholarships are offered to single parents and families with limited finances.)
We support single parents through our One-to-One Ratio single parent support group. A portion of our donations to the ministry are used to help single parents continue home schooling. (This includes assistance curriculum, books, school supplies, and passes for fun activities, etc.)
