Church World Service helps welcome newly arrived refugees who have been forced to flee their home countries, and have been offered the opportunity to start a new life of peace and dignity here in the US. As part of this program, CWS sets up refugees' first homes in America with the essential furnishings and household supplies that they need. We often need volunteers to move furniture to set up apartments for new arrivals of refugees. We also need volunteers with trucks or vans to pick up large furniture donations.
