We are seeking only volunteers who live in West Virginia, for service at locations in West Virginia.
Thank you for your interest in this opportunity with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). I know we have a place for you. We now are seeking volunteers for Filing Season 2021, which will begin in late January. Due to the COVID-19, we now offer service virtually (remotely), with no face-to-face contact. We need your help.
You can make a difference. Our VITA volunteers use software to prepare and file tax returns at no charge for people with low-to-moderate incomes, veterans, the disabled, the elderly, and people with English as a second language. We work hard to claim for them every tax benefit they deserve. No prior tax or accounting experience is required. We provide training. We have VITA sites/locations sponsored by partner organizations throughout West Virginia. Please contact Cassel Pulliam at william.c.pulliam@irs.gov or 304-561-3045. Welcome to VITA !
