Hospice is a special way of caring for people in the final stage of life. Hospice provides physical, emotional and spiritual care to terminallyl-ill patients and their families.
Caris volunteers represent people from all walks of life with varied interests who lend their life experiences to help our organization and the families we serve.
Volunteers can...
- provide emotional support and friendship
- give a caregiver some much-needed rest
- read to patients
- make a memory book
- compose photo albums
- share favorite songs
- make "goody bags"
- write letters
- help with office/clerical tasks at the Caris office
- make a difference in the lives of people in your community--maybe even your own!
