Perfect opportunity for stay at home moms, retired people, and those with a flexible work schedule. Provide occasional rides to Dr appointments. May require a steady arm to escort in and out of the building. Driver uses their own vehicle. Appointments are arranged as needed and according to the drivers availability. Drivers usually provide 1-3 rides per month; almost all are during regular M-F business hours. When a ride is requested, we reach out to our driver pool to see who is available and/or interested. You can choose any ride that fits your schedule and distance you would like to drive. Almost all rides are within a small geographic area.

The mission of the Neighborhood Network for Seniors - Block Nurse Program is to enable seniors to live safely at home for as long as possible by providing community supported volunteer and nursing services. This grass roots approach connects neighbors to neighbors and provides seniors with the resources to stay living in the homes they love, safely, independently and connected to their community. Volunteers and seniors are at the core of what we do!
