Provide an adult with the gift of literacy. Tutor an adult learner one-on-one in reading, writing, spelling or math. Meet once a week or consistently, schedule is flexible, determined by tutor and learner.
Volunteer tutor-learner session needs to be scheduled in timeframes Mon-Thurs 10:00am-4:30pm;
Fri and Sat: 1:00pm - 3:30pm. Extensive assortment of materials is available free of charge. Tutor needs to submit simple monthly reports on hours tutored. Report learners progress to Literacy office. Maintain contact with Literacy office regarding learner's needs, concerns or questions.
