Become a Hospice Volunteer. Hospice of North Ottawa is looking for caring and dedicated members of the Tri-Cities area willing to help terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers provide friendly visits, run errands, read to patients or lend a gentle ear. Volunteers with Hospice of North Ottawa are the heart of the hospice team. Our volunteers provide the extra warmth and thoughtful gestures to the patients we serve. Your gift of time to our Hospice patients allow for flexibility and will fit even the busiest schedule. Volunteer training is necessary and is offered 4-6 times per year.
