Become a Hospice Volunteer. Trinity Health at Home - Grand Haven is looking for caring and dedicated members of the Tri-Cities area, Muskegon and Grand Rapids, willing to help terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers provide companionship visits, run errands, read to patients, play cards or lend a gentle ear. They may also provide a respite visit to allow a family caregiver to spend some time out of the home. Volunteers with trinity Health at Home Grand Haven are the heart of the hospice team. Our volunteers provide the extra warmth and thoughtful gestures to the patients we serve. Your gift of time to our Hospice patients allows for flexibility and can fit even the busiest schedule. Volunteering with Hospice is a great opportunity for anyone, college students, retirees, even those with full time work schedules have been able to fit volunteering in to their busy schedules.
Volunteer training is necessary and is offered several times per year.
