If hosting a large dinner party is your idea of fun, then have we got an opportunity for some real fun for you! Our House of Portland needs kitchen helpers!
Our House is a long-term care facility for people with HIV/AIDS. We serve three meals a day to our residents and staff. Each shift has a cook and a helper. While the cook gets the meal prepared, the shift helpers sometimes assist with prep, set the table/serve residents meals and keep track of the dishes.
This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to build community, get to know new people and play games! You typically have plenty of time to engage with our residents, as well as work in the kitchen. We have three shifts available:
Breakfast Helper - 8am - 11am
Lunch Helper - 11am - 3pm
Dinner Helper -4pm - 7pm (this shift is more flexible for arrival time)
*All of these positions are ideally weekly, but we are happy to work with your schedule!
