The Tenderloin After-School Program (TASP) is seeking enthusiastic and committed volunteer tutors who are available to work with students ages 7-13 (1st grade - 8th grade) on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
We request that you volunteer for a shift of approximately 2 hours per week! Some experience is required as well as a passion for working with youth and nurturing a joy for learning!
Homework sessions are:
Monday-Thursday from 3:00p-5:30p
TASP asks volunteers to commit to at least 6 months (preferably 1 year) to ensure positive relationship building between the tutor and participants.

Description
TASP provides free, comprehensive programming for low-income children and youth ages 5-17. Activities include homework support, art and culture activities, sports, computers, youth leadership development, and lots of field trips year-round.
