During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Elder Services of Cape Cod & the Islands, Inc
Volunteers in this program assist income eligible adults on Cape Cod and the Islands, sixty years or older, who may be at risk for losing their independence due to their failure to pay their bills on time. Volunteers meet with consumers in their homes to assist with balancing checkbooks, paying bills on time, and managing money wisely. Candidates should enjoy and have an aptitude for financial tasks.
*Due to Covid-19, volunteers are not entering consumer's homes. A volunteer is able to follow a contactless exchange to receive bills, etc. then return to consumer, without having an in-person, in-home interaction.

Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands was founded in 1972 as a community based, private non profit organization dedicated to promoting the welfare, enhancing the quality of life and maintaining the dignity of older citizens in the 22 towns of Barnstable, Nantucket, & Dukes counties.
Both the state and federal government have designated Elder Services to be the primary link on the Cape and Islands to ACCESS, SERVICE, and ADVOCACY for elders.
Elder Services relies on over a thousand volunteers to assist us in our many programs of community service.
Volunteers will play an ever increasing role in helping us meet the growing challenges of our mission.
Please check out our postings or give us an email or call!
